Canadian Citizenship: Your Pathway to a Permanent Future

Applying for a Citizenship Grant (Naturalization)

For Permanent Residents, the transition to citizenship requires a meticulous review of your time spent in Canada. To be eligible, you must have been physically present in Canada for at least 1,095 days (3 years) within the five years immediately preceding your application.

How We Help: The Residency Strategy & Audit

We don’t just fill out forms; we ensure your application is "return-proof."

  • Physical Presence Audit: We meticulously calculate your travel history, including "half-day credits" for time spent as a temporary resident (worker or student) before you became a PR, ensuring you apply on the very first day you're eligible—no early refusals or waiting games.

Evidence Portfolio: We identify the specific documents (tax filings, employment records, and residential leases) that act as a "shield" against IRCC residency questionnaires.

The "Return-Proof" Review: Since even a one-day miscalculation can lead to a rejected application, we conduct a final audit of your file before we submit it the IRCC.

Our Forensic Approach: We cross-reference your PR card records and entry/exit stamps to ensure 100% accuracy.

⚠️Warning: Applying even one day before you meet the physical presence requirement will lead to an automatic refusal.

Citizenship by Descent: Bill C-3 & The "Lost Canadians"

Important 2026 Update

  • As of December 15, 2025, the unconstitutional "first-generation limit" has been removed for people born before December 15, 2025. If you were previously told you could not inherit Canadian citizenship because your parent was also born abroad, your right to citizenship may have been restored.

Are you eligible under Bill C-3?

  • Born BEFORE December 15, 2025: If you are a second-generation (or further) descendant born abroad, you may now be recognized as a Canadian citizen retroactively.

  • Born ON or AFTER December 15, 2025: Canadian parents born abroad can now pass on citizenship by demonstrating a "Substantial Connection" to Canada (proving they lived in Canada for at least 1,095 days prior to the child’s birth).

How We Help: Reclaiming Your Citizenship

  • Eligibility Assessment: we determine if you fall under the retroactive "Lost Canadian" restoration or the new "Substantial Connection" test.

  • Evidence of Connection: For parents born abroad, we help brain storm ideas of what and where to locate decades-old evidence (school transcripts, , old T4s, or medical records required to prove your 1,095 days of physical presence to the IRCC.

  • Certificate Applications: We manage the entire process of applying for your Proof of Citizenship (Citizenship Certificate) to ensure your rights are officially recognized.
